![]() I used Beartic as starter to swap it fast with Empoleon just so I can get some free damage on that annoying Aerodactyl, otherwise Empoleon only kills 60% of Aerodactyl instead of 85-90% like it did for me. Maybe Machamp or Lucario are better but they're just flex since any good fighting mon will beat Cliff's TyranitarĬP range: 2500-3000. I am level 33, playing for almost 3 months and there's only one lineup that works for me with the pokemons I have:ġ Empoleon (Waterfall/Hydro Pump) - because he's steel type as well and doesn't die fast to Cliff's AerodactylĢ Beartic (Charm/Ice Punch) - Charm does a lot of damage to Gallade and Ice Punch loads fast so I can make him use his shieldsģ Hariyama (Counter/Dynamic Punch) - This is my only fighting mon with both fighting type movesets. Finished the battle with Kyogre unleashing a Surf against Tyranitar with SE damage, killed him off nicely.įor some reason I only encounter Cliff with Aerodactyl/Gallade/Tyranitar. Hydreigon battled as much as he could, good thing Tyranitar with Bite charges up very slowly. Slowking died, leaving me with Tyranitar. Switched to Hydreigon, super effective Dark damage against Slowking, easy battle. Kyogre was on his last legs at this point but managed to charge up a Surf. Next I used Kyogre's Surfs on Slowking x2, which got shielded twice by Cliff. ![]() After killing Aerodactyl, Kyogre was left with slightly under half health. Switched to Kyogre, did not use charged moves but gunned Aerodactyl down with Waterfall. Did not manage to get off any charged move for Rhyperior. Rhyperior died, taking half of Aerodactyl's health. I used Rhyperior (元5, double rock, CP ~3400), Kyogre (L25, Waterfall + Surf, CP ~2900) and Hydreigon (元0, double dark moves, CP ~3000). This hulky individual can be intimidating in both his appearance and pocket monster lineup, as many players might fail to defeat Cliff on their first or. I am an L41 trainer with not a very good lineup (I don't have any mons over 元6).Ĭliff's lineup was Aerodactyl (CP 10K+!), Slowking (didn't check CP) and Tyranitar (CP 14K?!!). Whether Pokmon GO Trainers are attempting to unlock Giovanni or simply consume their Rocket Radar in November 2022, they will eventually encounter Cliff, the brawny Leader of Team Go Rocket. Uncomfortable and challenging but won in the end. ![]()
